How Career works
A clear path. Your own pace.
01 / Your first facility
Start with a quiet tower.
Begin at a contract tower such as Jefferson City. You arrive as Developmental, learning the facility and working toward your first position certification.
2 of 5 clean shifts. Every shift is a little more familiar.
02 / Your first patch
Certify every position.
Work five clean shifts to certify a position. Certify every position at the facility to become a CPC and earn its patch.
A patch records the facility you certified.
03 / Your next facility
Choose where to go next.
Bid up through FAA levels 4 to 12. Review your transfer offers, choose a facility, and work toward its certifications.
Offers never expire.
Keep working where you are until you are ready to move.

A patch for every place
Your career has a shape.
Round for contract towers. Cut corners for FAA facilities. A shield for prior service. At Level 12, a double gold border marks the summit.
Every center shows that field's real runways, drawn north-up from runway data. These are VectorHeavy's own patch designs.

The career boards
See who is climbing.
The boards rank listed careers by the highest FAA level held as a CPC, count this week's clean shifts, and keep a roster for every facility. A career is on them only if its player lists it, under a callsign. Never an email.
