Beech Factory is an unusual Wichita Class D field: one 8,001-foot runway serving an active aircraft factory, with runway 19 designated as the calm-wind runway.

You work Beech Tower beneath Wichita Approach. Factory flying, corporate and fractional jets, and extensive training activity share the single strip, with nearby McConnell and Jabara traffic tightening the local picture. South flow uses runway 19 and north flow uses runway 1. The current cycle publishes two approaches and no arrival or departure procedures, so every IFR departure leaves on radar vectors.

This is the Steady tier: modest volume, but concentrated on one runway with factory test flying and training traffic giving the board its character.
