Stillwater · Field elevation 1,000 ft · 2 runways · South Flow and North Flow
Stillwater Regional is Oklahoma State University's training field and north-central Oklahoma's airline gateway. The 7,401-foot 17/35 instrument runway crosses the shorter 4/22 near midfield.
You work Stillwater Tower with Kansas City Center providing approach and departure service. Student traffic fills the pattern while American regional service and transient business aircraft use the long runway. South flow uses 17 and north flow uses 35. The current cycle carries two generated RNAV approaches and no arrival or departure procedures, so IFR traffic enters through approach fixes and every IFR departure is radar vectors.
This is the Steady tier: a training-heavy Class D field where pattern traffic and a small airline stream meet on crossing pavement.
