Enid · Field elevation 1,167 ft · 2 runways · South Flow and North Flow
Enid Woodring Regional is a civil Class D field beside Vance Air Force Base. Its 8,613-foot 17/35 instrument runway dominates the scope, with the 3,150-foot 13/31 crosswind tucked against its east side.
You work Woodring Tower with Vance Approach overhead. Reach-tagged military training supplies most of the modeled traffic, with civil GA and business arrivals underneath. South flow uses 17 and north flow uses 35; the short crosswind stays visual-only and outside the static flows. The current cycle carries four generated approaches and no arrival or departure procedures, so every IFR departure is radar vectors.
This is the Busy tier: the traffic count is not the whole problem when repeated military training recoveries share one primary runway with civil arrivals.
