Columbus · Field elevation 744 ft · 2 runways · Northeast Flow and Southwest Flow
Rickenbacker International is Columbus's joint-use cargo field: the parallel 05L/23R and 05R/23L runways, each nearly twelve thousand feet, carry freight, military lift, leisure airline traffic and GA beneath a U.S. Air Force tower.
Northeast flow uses the 05 parallels and southwest flow reverses to the 23s. FedEx and UPS anchor the authored freight mix, with Allegiant, Reach military lift and business aviation between them. FAA cycle 2607 publishes five arrivals and eight approaches but no usable departure procedure, so IFR departures leave on radar vectors.
This is the Busy tier: long parallel pavement and a heavy wake mix, with the exact carrier weights, military mix and runway-role split presented as gameplay calibration rather than a reconstructed schedule.
