Philadelphia · Field elevation 36 ft · 4 runways · East Flow and West Flow
Philadelphia International has four published runways, led by the 12,000-foot 09R/27L and the 9,500-foot 09L/27R parallel. The crosswind 17/35 and shorter 08/26 are drawn from surveyed thresholds.
The airport's noise office describes east-flow departures on 09L and 09R with 09R arrivals, and west-flow 27L departures with arrivals on 27L and 27R. The modeled east bank uses 09L for departures; the west bank uses 27L for departures and both parallel arrival runways. The supported CIFP set has no usable SID, so IFR departures receive radar vectors. American anchors the traffic with domestic and Atlantic routes, alongside Frontier and Southwest. We choose the weights and cadence for gameplay, not as a published schedule.
This is the Heavy tier: parallel final sequencing and departure crossings beneath Philadelphia's Class B. The supported published procedures and airspace shelves are present. The game does not model detailed crosswind runway substitutions, 08/26's one-way operating restriction as a dynamic closure, or terrain and minimum vectoring altitudes.
