Washington · Field elevation 312 ft · 4 runways · North Flow and South Flow
Washington Dulles International has three north-south parallel runways and a crossing 12/30. Two parallels reach 11,500 feet, giving the United hub long domestic and international pavement.
The airport authority describes North Flow and South Flow as its typical wind-led configurations. The game sends arrivals to the center and east parallels and departures to the west parallel in either direction; those individual runway assignments are gameplay choices, not an airport-published split. United anchors domestic and Atlantic banks with other US and foreign carriers. Mix and cadence are modeled, not a timetable.
This is the Heavy tier: parallel finals, United banks and long-haul wake spacing under the Potomac terminal complex. Published procedures and Class B geometry are present. The crosswind 12/30 is shown but is not a normal-flow choice; terrain, MVA/MSAW and live runway closures are not modeled.
