Wilmington Air Park (KILN)

Wilmington Air Park is an industrial cargo and aviation-maintenance field between Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus. Its 10,701-foot 04L/22R is the active precision runway; the published 9,000-foot parallel 04R/22L is currently closed indefinitely and is drawn as pavement, not offered as a normal flow runway.

You work Wilmington Tower beneath Columbus Approach. Northeast flow lands and departs runway 04L; southwest flow reverses to 22R. Airborne Express and Air Transport freighters dominate the sequence, with business and maintenance movements mixed in. The current FAA procedure set supplies approaches to the active strip and no SID, so every IFR departure receives radar vectors from the overlying approach facility.

This is the Busy tier: a one-runway operation carrying heavy cargo aircraft, with speed and wake decisions replacing passenger-bank variety. Carrier weights, routes, traffic cadence and reciprocal flows are our gameplay calibration, not claimed FAA traffic counts or a published runway-use plan.
