Greenwood-Leflore serves western Mississippi from a former wartime training field east of Greenwood. Its 6,501-foot 18/36 precision runway crosses the 5,011-foot 5/23.

You work Greenwood Tower with Memphis Center overhead. N-number aircraft dominate, joined by business turboprops and light jets. South flow uses runway 18 and north flow reverses to runway 36; runway 5/23 remains available outside the normal flows. The current FAA cycle supplies the field's published approaches but no arrivals or departure procedures, so IFR departures leave on radar vectors.

This is the Steady tier: a GA-majority board where crossing pavement and a broad speed mix create the work without scheduled-airline volume.
