Tri-State/Milton J. Ferguson Field sits south of Huntington on one 7,017-foot ridge-top runway. The real field serves West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio with scheduled passenger service, business aviation and general aviation from a Class D airport with its own approach control.

You work Huntington Approach. Southeast flow lands and departs runway 12; northwest flow reverses to runway 30. American regional arrivals from Charlotte and Allegiant leisure traffic share the sequence with business jets and piston aircraft. The current FAA procedure set supplies instrument approaches to both ends, while departures fly radar vectors rather than a published SID.

This is the Steady tier: one runway makes sequencing legible, but airline wakes, mixed speeds and surrounding high terrain give the field its character. The game does not model terrain, minimum vectoring altitudes or obstacle clearance. Traffic weights, equipment and the reciprocal runway configurations are our gameplay calibration, not claimed FAA counts or a published runway-use plan.
