Tupelo Regional is northeast Mississippi's towered airline field, with one 7,150-foot north-south runway beside the Tombigbee River.

You work Tupelo Tower with Memphis Center overhead. Contour's Volare regional jets connect Nashville and Dallas / Fort Worth on a thin Essential Air Service schedule while N-number GA and transient business traffic fill most of the board. South flow uses runway 18 and north flow reverses to runway 36. The current FAA cycle carries six approach records but no arrivals or departure procedures, so every IFR departure leaves on radar vectors.

This is the Steady tier: a compact airline schedule over a GA-majority operation, with one runway making sequencing and occupancy the work.
