San Antonio · Field elevation 809 ft · 3 runways · Southeast Flow and Northwest Flow
San Antonio International works three crossing runways in Class C airspace, with the two 8,500-foot strips carrying the main instrument traffic.
The Southeast and Northwest flows use the long 13R/31L strip. Runway 22 can take northwest arrival overflow; 4 is available manually but its published STARs do not serve most northern entry gates. The shorter 13L/31R is drawn but kept out of automatic airline flows because the FAA restricts scheduled passenger operations there. The exact simulated split is a game choice.
The Busy tier mixes Southwest, American, United and Delta with Frontier, Alaska and general aviation. FAA CIFP supplies supported procedures; airline weights and traffic cadence are gameplay calibration, not a timetable.
