Phoenix Sky Harbor International (KPHX)

Phoenix Sky Harbor works three east-west parallels across the Salt River valley. Runway 08/26 reaches 11,489 feet, the middle 07L/25R is 10,300 feet, and the south 07R/25L is 7,800 feet. American and Southwest are the dominant modeled carriers.

East flow lands 07R and 08 while 07L handles departures. West flow lands 25L and 26 while 25R handles departures. A 2026 FAA runway-use study supports these outer-arrival, middle-departure roles. Delta, United, Frontier and Alaska add domestic variation, with a smaller international and cargo stream. Traffic cadence and weights are gameplay choices, not an airport timetable.

This is the Heavy tier: closely spaced parallel arrivals and a busy departure runway. The Class B shelves and supported published procedures are present. Phoenix is terrain-defined in real life, but VectorHeavy models NO terrain, NO minimum vectoring altitudes and NO low-altitude warning; do not use this field to practice terrain clearance. Noise procedures and the airport's ban on routine touch-and-go practice are not modeled as dynamic restrictions.
