Joplin Regional (KJLN)

Joplin Regional is southwest Missouri's GA-majority tower, with two nearly equal crossing runways. The north-south 18/36 is the primary strip and 13/31 is the crosswind, both long enough for the regional airline operation.

South flow departs 18 and lands 18 and 13; north flow reverses that picture onto 36 and 31. The current FAA cycle publishes eight approaches but no arrival or departure procedures, so every IFR arrival enters through a real approach feeder and every departure remains on a heading until you work it. SkyWest flies to Chicago and Denver, with ExecJet and Flexjet traffic mixed into the much larger local and transient GA stream.

This is the Steady tier: six-thousand-five-hundred-foot crossing runways, a small regional-jet schedule and a deep GA base, with the sequencing decisions yours because there is no published route structure to carry them.
