James M. Cox Dayton International is southwest Ohio's airline field, with the 10,901-foot 6L/24R parallel to 6R/24L and the north-south 18/36 crossing between them.
Dayton Tower works reciprocal 06 and 24 parallel flows while runway 18/36 remains available outside the normal configurations. American, Delta and United regional traffic shares the field with Allegiant leisure service, cargo and GA. FAA cycle 2607 publishes one arrival, no usable departure procedure and fourteen approaches, so every IFR departure leaves on radar vectors.
