Charlotte Douglas is American's second-largest hub. Three parallel runways serve a dense connecting bank; all three received new designations during 2026 ahead of a fourth runway planned for 2027.

You work Charlotte Approach. The current runways are 1L/19R, 1R/19L and 18/36. The game models north and south flows with paired arrival streams and the eastern strip for departures, using FAA-published procedures where the pinned cycle supports them.

The Heavy tier brings rapid parallel arrivals, hub departures and wake spacing. Exact runway roles, carrier weights and traffic cadence are authored for play, not a live schedule. Terrain, minimum vectoring altitudes and MSAW are not modeled.
