Springfield-Branson National (KSGF)

Springfield-Branson National is southwest Missouri's Class C gateway, with two crossing runways that split the real operation almost evenly. The longer 14/32 strip crosses 02/20 near the middle of the field, so neither runway can be treated as a harmless spare.

Springfield works paired north and south configurations across both strips. The current FAA procedure cycle publishes eight approaches but no usable arrival or departure procedures, so every IFR flight enters through the real approach feeders and every departure remains on a heading until you work it. American, Allegiant, Delta and United supply the regional passenger traffic; FedEx and UPS add overnight 757 and A300 freight against a large local GA and training stream.

This is the Steady tier: moderate airline and cargo traffic over a GA-majority operation, with crossing-runway decisions providing the pressure instead of hub volume.
