Minneapolis-Saint Paul International is Delta's northern hub, built around the long 4/22 diagonal, two southeast-northwest parallels, and the separate 17/35 cross-flow runway. Sun Country adds a strong hometown bank beside the dominant Delta schedule.

You work Minneapolis Approach. North flow lands 30L, 30R and 35 while departures use 30L and 30R; south flow lands 12L and 12R while departures use 12L, 12R and 17. Published arrivals and departure procedures feed the streams, with the cross-flow runway making runway protection part of the sequencing problem.

This is the Heavy tier: dense airline traffic, mixed runway geometry, wake spacing and sustained arrival pressure. Carrier weights, equipment allocation, route subset, cadence and the choice to model two of the airport's published operating configurations are gameplay calibration. Terrain, minimum vectoring altitudes, MSAW and winter surface effects are not modeled.
