Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (KCVG)

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International puts three north-south parallels and a 12,001-foot east-west runway under one Class B shelf. It is both a passenger airport and one of North America's major cargo fields: Amazon's primary U.S. air hub and DHL's Americas superhub share the pavement with the airline schedule.

You work Cincinnati Approach. South flow lands 18R and 18C; south-flow departures use 18C and 18L. North flow lands 36L and 36C; north-flow departures use 36C and 36R. Delta, Allegiant, Frontier, American, Southwest, United and Breeze build the passenger stream. DHL World Express, Amazon-contracted Giant and FedEx create the heavier cargo waves, with an occasional Speedbird international arrival.

This is the Heavy tier: four runways, five published arrivals, nine departure procedures and twenty-four approaches.
