Columbia · Field elevation 236 ft · 2 runways · West Flow and East Flow and Southwest Flow and Northeast Flow
Columbia Metropolitan works two crossing runways in South Carolina's capital. The 8,601-foot 11/29 and 8,001-foot 5/23 support airline connections and general aviation at a field elevation of 236 feet.
West flow uses runway 29, east flow runway 11, southwest flow runway 23 and northeast flow runway 5. American, Delta and United connect Columbia to their domestic hubs, with a small business-jet stream. Supported published approaches are present; every IFR departure receives radar vectors rather than a SID.
This is the Busy tier: regional-jet sequencing and GA beneath Columbia's Class C. Carrier weights, equipment allocation, reciprocal flows and traffic cadence are our gameplay choices. The game does not model the turbine noise-abatement turn restriction, helipad operations or terrain and minimum vectoring altitudes. Local hydrography is omitted pending a sourced extract.
