Boise · Field elevation 2,872 ft · 2 runways · East Flow and West Flow
Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field has two long parallels, 10L/28R and 10R/28L. Alaska and Southwest lead a passenger mix also served by American, Delta, United, Frontier, Allegiant and seasonal Sun Country.
You work Big Sky Approach. East flow lands 10R and departs 10L; west flow lands 28L and departs 28R. Published FAA approaches and procedures feed the streams, while Boise Tower controls the runways below you.
The Busy tier mixes mainline and regional traffic with general aviation at a civil-military field. Exact runway roles, carrier weights, fleet and route subsets and traffic cadence are game calibration. Gowen military profiles, mountainous terrain, minimum vectoring altitudes and MSAW are not modeled, so the display is not a terrain-clearance tool.
