Albuquerque · Field elevation 5,355 ft · 3 runways · East Flow and West Departure Flow
Albuquerque International Sunport is a high-desert field at 5,355 feet, with three crossing runways and a 13,793-foot east-west primary strip.
You work Albuquerque Approach with 8 as the primary instrument arrival runway and crossing 3 as overflow. An alternate configuration lands 3 and departs 26; this constrained split is a game choice, not the real airport's routine flow. The game cannot fly the published RNP paths to 26 and 21, so those ends remain selectable for visual use but are not offered as automatic instrument arrival runways.
The Busy tier combines Southwest, American, United and Delta with general aviation. Cadence and carrier weights are modeled for play, not a timetable. Mountain terrain, minimum vectoring altitudes and MSAW are not represented; this is not a terrain-clearance simulation.
